Fostering: A Beautiful Mess

Foster care is a beautiful mess. Come join me in it.

Never in a hundred years did I think our family would do foster care, but here we are passionate about our calling to it. I truly think foster care is an oxymoron described as a beautiful mess. Its full of joys and tears, and ups and downs, brokenness and healing, and messy beauty. Come join me in this mess and let me share our fostering experience with you!

About

I am a mother to three girlies (and a handful of foster kiddos). I am married to my college sweetheart. My side job (next to being a mom and wife) is a family practice nurse practitioner. In my "free time" I coach volleyball. I love the color plaid (that's a color, right!?) and the woods where we live. I like my coffee black and bold. I like my chocolate dark and rich. I like my wine red and deep. I believe that Jesus saved a wretched soul like me.
